Nikkei extends losing streak to 12 sessions for 1st time in 54 years

TOKYO, Japan - A stock price board at a securities company in central Tokyo shows the Nikkei Stock Average losing 27.51 points to close at 13,237.89 on July 4. The key index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange extended its losses for a 12th straight trading session for the first time in more than half a century.
